Bitterns Boom is a lovely 3/4 bedroom semi-detached
cottage, (sleeps 8) only 200 metres from the beach,
set in the delightful small village of Oxwich on the
picturesque Gower peninsula.
The cottage comprises of a master bedroom with
ensuite, a twin bedroom with ensuite, a twin bedroom,
family bathroom and
there is a downstairs double bedroom and separate
bathroom. The kitchen is fully fitted with
dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, gas
hob, electric oven and microwave. There is a lounge,
separate dining area and a large outside patio to the rear.
All linen is supplied but
not cot linen & personal towels. O F C H, electric
and winter fuel are all included in the price. Ample
parking.
The cottage is a short walk from the beautiful
beach with its many activities which can include
fishing and a variety of water sports, dogs are
allowed on the beach all year round.The Oxwich Bay hotel stands on the edge of the
beach and provides a good range of meals including
breakfast. There is also a small village shop but
this is seasonal.
The cottage is within easy distance of Swansea and
The Mumbles with there many shops, museums and a
variety of other attractions.
The Gower has many places of interest to visit and
the Gower heritage centre is one of them there are
always a wide variety of events going on and it is
well worth a visit. The Gower also has excellent
golf courses within easy reach of the cottage. There
are also things like pony trekking and archery
nearby and many lovely walks. So whether you are
after a relaxing holiday on the beach or a more
energetic holiday, Bitterns Boom is the place to be!
Prices from £350-£900 per week. Dogs permitted at an
extra cost of £20 per week each (maximum 2).
Bookings are Saturday to Saturday.
